Where It All Began
BlessUp Enterprise was founded with a simple yet powerful vision: to create stronger communities by investing in people.
We recognized that many individuals and families face challenges that extend beyond immediate needs. While food, clothing, and essential resources are important, lasting transformation also comes through encouragement, mentorship, leadership, opportunity, and genuine human connection.
Rather than simply providing temporary assistance, BlessUp Enterprise seeks to build relationships that inspire hope, restore confidence, and empower individuals to reach their full potential.
Today, we continue to grow through partnerships, volunteers, and supporters who believe that every act of service has the power to change lives.

Richard Portis - Founder & Executive Director
Richard founded BlessUp Enterprise with a vision of strengthening communities through faith, leadership, mentorship, and compassionate service. His passion is creating opportunities that empower youth, support families, and inspire lasting change.
Patrick Davis - Board President
Patrick provides governance and strategic oversight, helping guide the organization with integrity, accountability, and a commitment to long-term community impact.
Joshua Yates - Vice President
Joshua supports organizational leadership, community partnerships, and strategic initiatives that advance the organization's mission and strengthen its impact.
Nora Milton - Secretary
Nora provides organizational leadership, strategic planning, and operational support while helping guide the growth, governance, and long-term vision of BlessUp Enterprise.
Elizabeth Ingram - Treasurer
Elizabeth oversees financial stewardship, accountability, and responsible resource management to help ensure BlessUp Enterprise remains sustainable for years to come.
